Cara Mempercepat Kinerja Mozilla Firefox

Untuk para advanced user, posting ini mungkin sudah basi. Tapi barangkali ada yang belum tau and belum pernah nyoba, inilah tips and trik yang bisa bikin mozilla menggila speednya.
Ok, langsung aja, buka Firefox ketik, “about:config” tanpa tanda kutip di address bar (URL) trus ENTER. Ini akan bawa kita  ke menu buat ngeset parameters Firefox.
Klik 2x di settingan dan masukin angka-angka ini. Untuk true / false booleans, mereka bakal ganti otomatis begitu klik 2x.

Ganti kode:
browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs = true
network.http.max-connections = 64
network.http.max-connections-per-server = 20
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy = 10
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server = 4
network.http.pipelining = true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests = 100
network.http.proxy.pipelining = true
network.http.request.timeout = 300
nglayout.initialpaint.delay = 0
network.http.request.max-start-delay = 0

Kalo ada salah 1 kode diatas yang gak tercantum buat aja sendiri, caranya:
1.Utk True/false klik kanan->new->booleans->buat parametersnya->true/false sesuaikan dgn jwb kode yg dibuat.
2.Utk angka klik kanan>new>integer>set angka sesuai dengan parameters yang dibuat.

Restart mozilla.
Sekarang Bedain Speednya!!!

Selain itu, ada beberapa setting yang kalo perlu bisa ditambahkan:
 

Untuk Cable DSL:

1. Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit enter. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”
Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”
set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0?. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

Untuk ADSL Cable:
1. Type: about:config
2. Set:
network.http.max-connections : 64
network.http.max-connections-per-server : 21
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server : 8
network.http.pipelining : true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests : 100
network.http.proxy.pipelining : true

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0?. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves. (Copy from TvM)

Untuk koneksi via Wireless LAN
network.http.max-connections === set ke 30
network.http.pipelining === set ke true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests = 8
network.http.proxy.pipelining = true
udah! eit blom selese tinggal satu lagi
buat key baru caranya : kilk kanan pilih new integer
ketik : ‘nglayout.initial.delay’ set ke 0

Setting ini memang terbukti bisa membuat kinerja mozilla lebih cepat. Namun, dampaknya bikin overload luar biasa ke situs yang dituju dan selain itu comp user lain yang dapat share internet bakal kesedot bandwitchnya!

Oya, juga disable IPv6 di Firefox untuk mempercepat load page, karena hampir semua site sudah tidak memakai IPv4. caranya buka Firefox lalu ketik “about:config” (enter).

cari :Network.dns.disableIPv6
Klik 2x untuk merubah menjadi ‘true’

lalu restart Firefox lg.
Akses browsing pasti akan lebih cepat page per page.
